SouthwestRooms.com is owned and operated by FunTyme Reservations, Inc. It is a true hotels wholesaler providing hotel information and hotel reservations for Palm Springs and San Diego California, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe and Grand Canyon Arizona. FunTyme Reservations has been serving guests since 1985. We contract with hotels in advance for volume purchases and guaranteed availability of hotel rooms at wholesale prices and sell our inventory to consumers.

FunTyme Reservations was founded in 1985 and was one of the first to pioneer the hotel wholesale business in the United States. Since then a multibillion dollar industry has mushroomed, and FunTyme has booked over a two million hotel rooms. In 1996 FunTyme was one of the first companies to pioneer booking accommodations on the Internet. VegasRooms.com and RenoTahoeRooms.com are today two very well known web sites customers have come to rely on for great service and great rates. In early 2003 FunTyme expanded its territory to include California and Arizona. Thus on May 15, 2003 Southwestrooms.com went live.

From the outset, the owner of FunTyme Reservations, established a company theme, "Give'em information - not hype." You will not find, therefore, a lot of hype or jingle-jangle on southwest rooms, or any of FunTyme's web sites. "There are as many different reasons for people to book hotel rooms and travel as there are people who book them. Regardless of the reasons, our customers deserve to have what they want, and that always translates into value, convenience and safety," he said. And that is exactly who we are and what we do.

How does Southwestrooms differ from all the rest?

First of all you won't find a lot of hype and hoop-la on any of our web sites, or have to listen to it from any of our Call Center agents. We tell it like it is. Our hotel partners describe their hotel and its amenities to us, as they must, and we communicate that information to you. We visit each property, take notes, take pictures and ask questions. But we don't embellish their words or our own, or try to lure you into booking something that won't work for you. Also, we don't hide anything. For example, a lot of online service providers hype "Lowest Rate Guarantee" or "Best Rate Guarantee," but actually guarantee NOTHING. Read what the guarantees really say. Garfield said it best: "If you gotta say it, it can't be true." Yet what they don't boast hype is that they have non-refundable service charges. Usually disguised as "tax recovery and service charges," or other such crafty language, but those service charges are buried within the room-tax, adding another 3-9% or so to your bill. So, yes, their rates may look low...but hold on, the final price is NOT!

Simply said, Southwestrooms hides nothing, and we don't charge service fee's to book you room either. Our web sites and our services are clean, honest, feature-robust and nothing is ever hidden.
